The V-Ceptor is a fully integrated, mobile remote video security solution, which has been designed to be totally transportable therefore allowing the system to be re-deployed and used on multiple sites.
Historically CCTV schemes applied correctly are known to be both an effective deterrent and preventer of antisocial behaviours and crime; CCTV has proven to be an invaluable asset in tracking down offenders, preventing theft from sites and monitoring the streets as part of public safety strategies.
The obvious problems associated with manned guarding are costs, logistics, health and safety, and a lack of flexibility to respond to fast-changing circumstances. In most instances described above, surveillance is needed on a temporary basis until the activity under scrutiny has ceased.
Wherever permanent man guarding is neither cost-effective, and the area is not covered by a permanent CCTV scheme, thus could benefit from a mobile deployable CCTV solution.
The V-Ceptor trailer system provides a platform for both transporting the system from site to site and in addition when in deployed-mode provides a self–contained secure working platform to function as a fully integrated (Remote Video Monitoring) security system.
It uses the latest wireless technology and has been primarily designed to work in areas that do not have fixed wired communications or a permanent power source.
It can be set up by an operator in under 15 minutes, and can be left for as long as is required.
V-Ceptor is extremely robust and therefore has protection against attack. It saves the expense of paying security guards to observe the area in addition to unnecessarily putting guards at risk.
The V-Ceptor is fully self-contained with the following features including:
- DVR hard disk recorder & Transmission System
- Advanced Transmission over 3G and Wi-Fi.
- A built in battery backup system is included as standard
- Optional LPG generator where an electrical supply is not available, making it 100% standalone
- Live speech /audio broadcast to alert intruders to the fact that they are being monitored and prevent an incident
- In the event of primary power failure the V-Ceptor will send an alarm and the backup battery will provide alterative power for several hours.

The V-Ceptor has been designed to work in conjunction with a manned response service; a guard control centre is able to forward remote site alarm images onto field-based response vehicles.
