The St Georges Tower Regeneration - Case Study 2007/08

The St Georges BT Tower Project situated in the heart of Leicester was part of an £18 Million regeneration project to convert the BT Tower into prestigious mixed use Retail, Commercial and Residential complex.

Issues to resolve:

  • Tight time scales achieving the target main programme
  • Consultation with Electrical and Mechanical Designers
  • Meeting Pre Requisite operational requirements
  • Project Management defined

Solution

Adept Security Systems Ltd were selected to work in partnership with EIC Ltd, the Main Electrical and Mechanical Contractor using our expertise and professional accreditations to provide for:

  • Integrated Intruder Alarm and Access Control on line system to restricted areas
  • Static and Functional CCTV and hard drive archive recording and control system, providing security and safety with management control & incident investigation.

The £225K project was successfully completed in line with the main contract programme in September 2008 and to budget.
